My career goals have always focused on bettering the lives of those around me. As an educator, I found it important to cater each lesson or teaching approach to individual student needs. Bedside nursing took on a similar path of caring and dedication that exceeded the expectations of my patients and healthcare organizations. As a leader in my teams, I created an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and mutual respect. With this foundation of values in place, Advanced Practice Nursing and Nursing Education have become a successful career path that fulfills the desire to care for others while also contributing to the future of nursing.
